Royals and Keystone State Cornhole team up to fight childhood cancer

The Reading Royals, a subsidiary of the Philadelphia Flyers, and Keystone State Cornhole, in collaboration with Rally for Ryder, will host a week-long event to fight childhood cancer starting Monday, November 15. All the profits of the week will be donated Laney’s Legacy of Hope and the One Wish Foundation.
“It’s a great way to help give back to the community that has given us so much,” said Royals general manager David Farrar. âWe are thrilled to be working with Keystone State Cornhole and Rally for Ryder to help fight childhood cancer and its effects on families. “
At any Keystone Cornhole event that week, every dollar spent will be donated to both charities. It all ends with a ‘bring your own partner’ cornhole tournament at Santander Arena ahead of the Royals’ game against the Newfoundland Growlers on Saturday, November 20.
The Royals will be wearing special jerseys for their Hockey Fights Cancer game, a favorite professional hockey themed night.
Raffle items, 50/50 tickets and other games of chance will also benefit the cause.
The team cornhole package costs $ 65 and includes one entry for two to the cornhole tournament, two tickets to the Royals game that night, and two door prize tickets. Additional spectator tickets cost $ 20 and include an hour-long early entry into the arena for the cornhole event, a game ticket, and a door prize ticket.
