When: Tuesday, November 16, 10 p.m. EST

To concern: Bally Sports Sud, Bally Sports App

Listen: 99.9 The Fan, Hurricanes.com/Listen, Hurricanes app

PROJECTED RANGE

Rod record: 11-2-0 (22 Points, T-1st – Metropolitan Division)

Last game of the rods: 3-2 victory over the St. Louis Blues on Saturday, November 13th.

Golden Knights Record: 9-6-0 (18 Points, T-4th – Pacific Division)

Last game of the Golden Knights: 7-4 Victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday, November 13.

STORIES TRACKING:

Consistency of the third period: At the start of last weekend, the team had allowed just three goals in 11 third periods this season. On Friday, they awarded two, which cost them a victory. On Saturday, they awarded another, tying the game for Saint-Louis. While the Canes were still able to achieve a positive result in the latter, the team are obviously hoping that the above will not become a habit.

Programming availability: The Canes kick off the six-game road trip tonight with question marks remaining, a trend that started mid-last week. Cheeky Martin Necas (sick) didn’t play in any of the games over the weekend, but skated in team practice on Monday. Conversely, forward Fast jesper (illness) did not train last Thursday, played both games, but did not practice on Monday. Also at the front, Nino Niederreiter (lower body) has been absent since suffering an injury on October 29. He returned to practice last Thursday, attended morning practice Friday but didn’t play, then trained again on Monday. Goalkeeper Antti Raanta appears to be available to play after Alex Lyon was reassigned to Chicago (AHL) on Sunday. Finally, the defender Brett Pesce left the team’s victory over the Blackhawks on Nov. 3 and has been out of action ever since. On Monday, he trained with the team, but with a non-contact jersey. When asked who would be available for the game against the Golden Knights, head coach Rod Brind’Amour said it would be “to wait and see until tomorrow”. More information should be available after today’s morning workout.

Hot Home Stretch for the opposition: Tonight is the fourth game of six home games for the Vegas Golden Knights. They beat the three opponents who entered “The Fortress” on the trip, Seattle and Minnesota before Vancouver, respectively. The 31st NHL franchise hasn’t lost at home since October 24.

Stage watch: Cheeky Teuvo Teravainen needs a goal to reach 100 in the NHL and Brady Skjei needs three assists to reach 100 in the NHL.

What color are we wearing? : The team will be wearing their white jerseys this evening. They will be wearing their white jerseys at every game on this trip.
