Pastrnak Pastrnak pasta hits shelves to benefit cancer charity

David Pastrnak has long argued that his favorite dish is pasta Bolognese, his pre-game meal before the Boston Bruins games.
But now Pastrnak, nicknamed “Pasta”, has its own version of noodles to serve the sauce: from pasta to pasta, if you will.
Pastrnak and the Stop & Shop supermarket chain unveiled the Pasta on Tuesday alongside stacks of limited-edition penne cans, which will go on sale for 88 cents at select Massachusetts stores to support pediatric cancer research and care at Dana Farber and the Jimmy Fund.
âI want to take advantage of the position I find myself in,â said Pastrnak, who wears No.88. âI need very little to help the community. It’s so easy for us to take a few hours a day. [to help] Dana Farber. I really want to help, especially for the kids. “
The black and gold boxes feature a photo of Pastrnak, along with his signature and the Bruins logo. Pastrnak said he brought a box with him to Warrior Ice Arena for the Bruins’ practice on Tuesday and that it “was gone pretty quickly.” He said he should bring more on Wednesday.
“I like all genres [of pasta]”Pastrnak said.” I’m trying to change it. My favorite is obviously the penne. Virtually all pasta that contains bolognese. “
But while Bolognese has long been his favorite, Pastrnak admitted to changing his usual order these days.
“It’s a long season so we’re a bit fed up,” said Pastrnak. “I found this new recipe. I have pasta penne, obviously – I’m going to have to start eating pasta, take it to our chef – with bolognese. I put a scoop of Alfredo and a scoop of pesto. It doesn’t look great but it tastes amazing. “
