Freshman Caiden Anderson scored two goals for his first points in high school.

Other goals scored for Freeburg-Waterloo were senior captain Donovan Knuckles, second student Connor Blair and senior Keary Thompson.

Brayden Richey, a junior, collected three assists.

Matthew Bushee made 20 saves at the net for the Raging Bulldogs, who faced Bethalto on Tuesday at McKendree Metro Rec Plex in O’Fallon.

Freeburg-Waterloo took two wins in two tries on Tuesday night, leading to an 8-0 victory over Bethalto. Ganz again led the offensive charge with three goals and two assists. Knuckles and Blair have each scored twice and rookie Austin Hopfinger notched his first career college goal. The Raging Bulldogs dominated Bethalto 58-6.

Connor Miller got the shutout in net for Freeburg-Waterloo.

The Ice Eagles also opened the game Monday night, beating 1-1 with Granite City.
