Week 3 Fantasy Hockey Goalie Stream
Antti Raanta (25%)
Frederick Andersen (99%) is off to a very hot start in his new Carolina dig with four wins in four games. The Hurricanes have a four-game homestand this week with a back-to-back Thursday / Friday in Boston and Chicago. It will be a good place for Andersen for a well-deserved rest. You can expect Raanta to play in one of these games and Carolina seems like a good bet every night right now.
Daniel Vladar (22%)
The Calgary Flames start the week on the road against the New York Rangers on Monday and the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday. Vladar is likely to get one of those starts and be available in around four out of five leagues.
Jonathan Quick (16%)
It looks like Cal Petersen (82%) has inherited the starting position in Los Angeles, but don’t count on Quick yet. The Kings are playing four games this week and so far Quick has played every other game. The team will play in St. Louis on Monday followed by three home games against the Jets on Wednesday and the Canadiens and Sabers on Saturday / Sunday. It is possible that Quick will play in Saint-Louis and Montreal if the trend continues. Otherwise, it’ll get at least one of the weekend games and it’s widely available as a streaming option.
Brian Elliott (14%)
As the undisputed top goalie in the NHL, Andrei Vasilevskiy (100%) has appeared in all five of the Tampa Bay Lightning games this season. To start the week however, the Lightning will have a back-to-back on the road Monday / Tuesday in Buffalo and Pittsburgh. It’s likely Elliott is getting into a game here. The defending Stanley Cup champions looked a bit lethargic after a summer of celebrations. However, there are definitely worse bets you could make if you need a goalie to start early this week. Elliot is available in all leagues except the shallower one.
