Fantastic impact: Great news for Anderson and fantasy owners, as the star shortstop hasn’t played since sustaining a groin sprain on May 29 against the Chicago Cubs. With a .356 batting average to go along with 24 runs scored, eight stolen bases, five homers and 19 runs scored in over 173 plate appearances this season, the White Sox as well as fantasy owners are receiving excellent production in almost every offensive measures. .

Gleyber Torres (illness) absent on Sunday

Gleyber Torres is out Sunday against the Cubs. He is “a little under the weather”. It’s not believed to be a COVID issue and he’s available on the bench. (Source: Brian Hoch on Twitter)

Fantastic Impact: Torres was originally in the line-up today but was scratched with some sort of stomach issue. The Yankees are out on Monday, so it seems possible that Torres could be ready to leave on Tuesday. DJ LeMahieu is on 2B and Matt Carpenter is on 3B.

Seiya Suzuki (finger) off for 5 days

Fantastic impact: Suzuki was expected to return this weekend at some point, but those plans appeared to have changed on Saturday. We now have a more concrete update on Suzuki’s finger, which is still not fully healed. Cubs manager David Ross mentioned that Suzuki “really wants to play,” so it looks like the rookie outfielder feels he can play soon. There should be an update towards the end of next week on his schedule.
