4 elected to the Riverview School Board
Riverview school board candidates Stefani Nycole Garibay, Wendy Wilton, Brian Hawk and Jeanine Hurt-Robinson were leading in a race for four four-year seats, according to reports from the Allegheny County Election Office.
Garibay had 1,577 votes. Wilton had 1,553 votes. Hawk had 1,536 and Hurt-Robinson had 1,527.
Democrat Laura Jacko had 1,439 votes and board chair Arlene Loeffler came last with 1,333 votes. There were 25 written votes.
Garibay and Loeffler were on both ballots. Wilton and Hawk have been listed as Republicans.
Those numbers were for just under 89% of the constituencies reported online as of November 3.
Allegheny County spokeswoman Amie Downs said situations where online numbers are not fully updated after polling day occurs with every election.
“All constituencies have reported,” Downs said by email on November 3. âHowever, when the election judges shut down the machines, sometimes they do it with the USB stick still inside. It’s sealed and locked and if they don’t realize it before that, they are unable to shut them down. to withdraw.
